McAffee Virus Scan 8.0 Professional
• Acceptable, although PAR would recommend Norton first
• OS: Windows 2000 and Windows XP

• Program and virus definitions update automatically (as long as machine is connected to Internet)

*NOTE: For users with a dedicated IT Department and central server, PAR recommends McAfee Enterprise 7.1

AVG 7.0 Professional
• Recommended for WinNT users or enterprise operations with multiple OS platforms, some using WinNT
• Not as user-intuitive as Norton
