PAR contributes to over 25 worthy organizations in central New York. These organizations cover a wide spectrum of causes. Child abuse prevention, Family Nurturing, the Arts, Public Television, and local police and fire agencies are just a few of the outstanding charities PAR works in concert to fulfill its role as a corporate citizen of the community.

PAR is one of the largest contributors to the United Way effort among participating companies in the local area. We support all of United Way‘s fine projects and look forward to continuing our close association with them.

PAR is also involved in active projects within the community. PAR's tutor program has PAR employees working one-on-one with inner city youth to help them excel in their studies. PAR is partnered with McDonald's in the Christmas in April project helping to rebuild neighborhoods and homes in need of repair in the same way the successful Habitat for Humanity has done. PAR supports the American Red Cross in their ongoing task of replenishing the local blood supply by having several blood drives a year at our Corporate Headquarters.

PAR Technology continues the tradition as a Gold Medal Sponsor of the Utica Boilermaker 15K Road Race, the nation's largest 15K race, by sponsoring the Champion Chip timing system for The Boilermaker Road Race. The Boilermaker is listed by Runner's World magazine as one of the Top 100 Races in the United States. PAR is proud to be affiliated with such a fine community event.
